Define new initiatives, coordinate action plans, and acquire new SMS (short message service) customers in actual and new markets. Responsible for product provisioning and dedication to carrier relationships and supplier chain development to include SMS and Voice products. Develop relationships with potential customers. Provide regular (market and/or technical) updates of customer requirements for business-planning and development. Setup and implement new accounts and interconnections. Close new SMS contracts. Identify sales opportunities with existing clients and vendors. Professionalize sales process; qualify a sales opportunity, analyze and assess business cases. Report on SMS traffic development and translate this into strategic decisions to develop new routes for the different region and the LATAM (Latin America) region specifically. Prioritize sales activities to ensure maximum productivity and drive sales growth. Meet and exceed sales profit goals. Optimize revenue and margin for assigned accounts. Optimize and execute the Annual Strategic Plan for the Americas region. Support the successful launch of each potential new business deal, opportunity, customer. Develop relationships with potential customers, especially with Tier 1 MNO (mobile network operator) in LATAM Region. Work closely with support, operations, billing team to ensure successful delivery and terms are fulfilled according to the account contract terms. Support the day to day relationships with all account managers in the company for LATAM business accounts to achieve more profit. Support other divisions by identifying sales opportunities and leads for firewall and MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) prospects. 30% national and international travel annually.



Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, business administration, management or related field.

8 years of progressively responsible, professional sales and business development experience that includes the following:  SMS messaging products; MNO/MVNO, Aggregator and related technologies for customers in Latin America, Interaction with senior-level decision makers at mobile operators and regional messaging industry in Latin America.

Spanish language business-level proficiency.
