Account Manager for Strategic Accounts

 

Based:

Atlanta

 

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the VP of Customer Excellence, the Account Manager is responsible for building relationships and managing and growing revenue from a portfolio of clients which consists of Sinch’ s largest enterprise accounts.  Key responsibilities: 

 

  • Provide Excellent Customer Service – help customers succeed with Sinch products and services
  • Actively participate in the sales process; work collaboratively with team to grow existing account base
  • Manage the customer onboarding process and ongoing support
  • Exceed individual sales target as defined by Sinch
  • Manage customer escalations & support issues to resolution
  • Attend and participate in weekly team meetings & customer meetings
  • Update Salesforce as requested
  • Maintain health of the customer:  billing/revenue tracking/reporting/campaign management/activity tracker/communications
  • Contribute to forecasting, tracking, account reviews and product planning meetings
  • Support team prospecting opportunities by creating implementation plans, onboarding activities, traffic migrations, and other product-specific activities
  • Work closely with product team to drive roadmap and new customer opportunities

 

 

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1 – 6 years of account management or sales experience ideally in a technology B2B business
  • Previous experience in the mobile industry or telephone services is a plus or having a keen interest in mobile communications (A2P SMS, MMS, OTT, IoT)
  • Strong team player who is able to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Detail orientation coupled with strong planning and follow-through
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Used to work in an international environment
  • Sense of urgency and exceptional customer-support orientation
  • Good analytical skills and experience with problem identification and resolution
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to develop and foster relationships - ability to work well with others
  • Self-motivated and self-managed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High energy, positive attitude and enjoy working in a fast paced team environment
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools (Salesforce)
